Several species of plant are classified together under the "aloe" genus name. Although there are something like 400 sub-species, one particular species stands apart and has been well-known for centuries for its imputed qualities. Scientists have now been able to identify and verify more than 200 compounds in the plant. We're talking about aloe vera barbadensis miller, named after the English botanist M. Miller.

This is a very specialised process and sets the product apart from cheaper effervescent tablets. The advantage is rapid dissolution in a glass of water as well as, in particular, the gentle and protective processing of the active ingredients such as the delicate vitamins and the aloe vera extract. The process also achieves a special aroma profile.

No, we have purposefully avoided the addition of artificial colourings. The lovely pink colour in Dr. Schneider Aloe Vera comes from the addition of the natural food colouring beet red. Beet red is a naturally-occurring red food colour that is extracted from beetroot.
